    Unique Poker Items Customer Service and Sales line is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday.  We are closed weekends and national holidays, however our e-mail order lines are always open, and we will fulfill your order promptly.

     


    How do you process orders?
    When you place your order with us we will process your payment the same day if you placed your order before 2.00pm Eastern Time or the following day if placed after that time. Once your payment is confirmed we will submit your order to our warehouse within 24 hours (unless you selected an expedited shipping method). Once received at our warehouse your order will typically leave the warehouse 2-3 days later (excluding customized products and certain items that are made specifically for your order) if you selected UPS Ground Service or US Postal Service (Some manufactures ship FedEX).
     
    Orders placed before 2.00pm Eastern time (and your payment was confirmed) where the shipping selected was UPS or FedEx 3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day Air Saver will be processed for shipping the same business day (excluding custom items or other items that we specifically order from other manufacturers for your order).
     
    We do not process orders on weekends or national holidays, however our web site UniquePokerItems.com is available 24/7 to process your orders as early as possible the next business day.
     
    We do not ship until full payment has been received.  If your order is selected for further validation (i.e. your credit card was denied or an item is temporarily out of stock) we will notify you within 8 working hours of receiving your order (excluding weekends and holidays. We will inform you of the reason for the delay, either by e-mail or telephone. In rare cases, your order may be delayed 3 or 4 business days.
    To check the status of your order, please e-mail us at customersupport@uniquepokeritems,com with your order number and we will contact you with the status by return e-mail.
     
    UNRESOLVED ORDERS ARE KEPT OPEN FOR NO MORE THAN 10 CALENDAR DAYS.  IF WE ATTEMPT TO CONTACT YOU AND YOU DO NOT RESPOND WITHIN 48 HOURS YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELED. 

     


    What currency and payment methods do you accept?

    All prices on our website are USD and we can only accept payment in US currency at this time. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and checks. 

     


    Do you charge sales tax?
    We only charge sales tax to packages that are shipped to California.
    As a California based company we add 7.25% sales tax on all purchases with a California shipping address. (The tax calculations excludes the shipping amount). For those California cities with a higher sales tax rate, we will pay the extra amount.

     


    Where do you ship?
    First, you should be made aware that unfortunately we do not ship to PO Boxes. For shipments to APO addresses please call.
     
    Only items with the OB or UT in front of item numbers can be shipped to Canada or Internationally. Items with UD in front of the number cannot be shipped outside of the United States.
     
    Canadian and International customers: please note that with all Canadian or International shipments you are responsible for payment of all import duties and broker fees. These are NOT included in the price or the shipping.  These fees are outside of our control and you should investigate what taxes and other fees you may be charged before making your purchase with us.
     
    For faster service and to save you time, please e-mail us for a quote for all International shipping on your order. For information about UPS/FedEx Broker and Canada Border Agency Fees, please e-mail us.
     
    For estimates on Canadian and International shipping costs please e-mail to us and we will return e-mail to you with anticipated delivery.
     

    What is the usual delivery time after placing an order?
    Expected shipping times are as follows (varies depending on where we are shipping to. For estimates on Canadian and International shipments please e-mail to us and we will return e-mail to you with anticipated delivery time.) 
    USPS First Class Mail: 2 to 10 business days
    UPS Standard Ground: 2 to 8 business days
    UPS 3-Day Select: 1 to 3 business days
    UPS 2-Day: 1 to 2 business days
    UPS Next Day Air Saver: next business day
    FedEx is used by some of our manufacturers
    APO Addresses: 7 to 10 business days.

     


    Is it easy to send gifts to another party?
    You may use your credit card to ship to friends, but in order to protect you from credit card fraud and to ensure there are no delays in shipping your order, call your credit card company and give them the address to which you would like to ship and use this as your billing address when you checkout.
     
    If you cannot do that, you may be asked to perform the following actions before we process your payment and your order:
         1. Photocopy of the front and back of the credit card you used to make your purchase with us
         2. A photocopy of a valid and current picture ID (your drivers license is perfect)
         3. A statement as follows "I authorize Unique Poker Items to ship my order to the following (shipping) address, followed by the billing          address as on the credit card you used to make your purchase.
         4. Your handwritten signature

    What are the differences in chips as to weight and makeup?
    The poker chips that you will purchase involves a truly personal decision. Some people like a light (9 to 10 grams), rough surface chip, whereas others prefer an extremely heavy (12.5 to 14 grams) chip. The look of the chip may be plain, or with a simple design built in. Other chips have beautiful 4-color lasered artwork and/or denominations on the chips. These are the decisions you will have to make.
     
    The difference between Composite, Clay Composite and Clay chips is basically the exterior layer of the chip makeup.
     
    Composite Chips or ABS Composite chips are made of a plastic material. This plastic is compressed so that it really doesn't feel like plastic. They usually contain a metal insert to adjust the chip weight and to make a clinging noise when hitting each other. These chips will usually last a lifetime. Clay Composite Chips are made of real clay with a metal insert to adjust the chip weight. This chip has a rougher surface and makes the same sound a a casino ship when hitting each other, They usually last 6 to 7 years in a casino, much longer for home use. All Clay Chips are made of real clay with no metal insert. They usually weigh 9 to 10 grams. These chips also have a rougher surface and will last the same as the Clay Composite chips.

     


    Are there variations in the color of chips ordered in the future?
    Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that each batch of poker chips is identical in color. Manufacturers change molds and processes, some go out of business, or simply stop manufacturing a particular chip. We then must source the chip elsewhere. This may mean that the color may vary from the original. We have no way to control this and all we can suggest is that to minimize the risk of this happening, you should purchase all of your chips in one order. We do guarantee that all of the chips on a single order will be the same color.

     


    Can I order customized or personalized chips?

    We can customize your chips as you need. You will have to order chips that have a blank center with space to provide the customization. See our Customized Chip page for further information. The customization process typically takes from 2 to 3 weeks depending on volume ordered. You can expedite the process at a small additional charge. Once completed, the chips will be shipped to you as per your preferred shipping method. We are sorry, but we cannot accept returns on any customized chips. Once you have approved the proof on your chhip design and they have been customized to your specifications, we cannot resell them to others.
